Let us all take renewed vow for pursuing  our welfare activities more vigorously so that we can bring back hopes in the life many more deprived children . Here in kolkata  every one is keeping in good health. and our project is running smoothly, I on behalf of the organization  i am enclosing all the activities that has been done last month (June) here is the brief  report from the administrative desk.

School : Little Heart School is  with a mission to impact the lives of the under privileged children.  our  works are primarily   in the field of education ,and to help those children who needs help.

 Last month had really been a busy month with all the activities and awareness program,Our big children of the school  have really done some  field work , They have been going to the railway station to speak to some parents living in the platform,  Moumita and Soma councilled some children addicted to drugs on the railway  station and as a result there was a good respond from the people living in the station.

Education Cell:   Children have finished there second semester syllables and are preparing for there second term  exams, which will be held this month (July)   As regular Exams subjects are  English paper One, English Paper two, Geography, Maths, History, Science, Moral Science,G.k. Hindi, Bengali,

Activities :On 2nd  of June The Teachers had visited the homes of irregular children , they went to there homes to interact with there parents and children. the problems that came to our notice  was First was the monsoon and the distance, Second was the health problem,Third was  some of the mothers were Harassment from the local people.

Awareness program on H.I.V. and Aids were conducted (kalyanpur  in another village out side  kolkata.)many mothers and children have benefited from this program

The mothers have also gone to home to clean the wounds of the other parents.

Parents Committee meeting was held on 10 of June and 72 mothers have joined the meeting.This was conducted by Moumita Roychoudry (present) and Soma Dey the (Treasure).The purpose behind this meeting was HIV/AIDS awareness and to see the local problems that they were facing,

Councelling was done to many parents.

 

This Is Debu Maiti

 

 New Member in the Orphanage :Debu Maiti He is 6 years old. His Mother is blind. and lives in the railway platform, they earned there living by begging and singing songs to the passenger passing by in the station. but the world is cruel and does not leave any young women safe, his mother was raped and is critical in the hospital. Debu has no one to turn to, from now onwards  we are his new Family.

Medicial :As all of you know most of our children and their mothers suffers from HIV/AIDS. Our regular treatment has really helped them lot, children having HIV AND AIDS some are suffering   from Tuberculosis . so as a whole we have started the dot treatment for children in need.

Visitors : This month we have been having visiters from the government administration officers, news papers and T.V.channel people to know about our organization. we have been getting very good respond.
